Organized Science Academies Refresher Course in Experimental Physics in IISER Pune in December 2013. The Refresher Course comprised of extensive lectures and laboratory sessions using a low cost experimental kit designed for physics experiments by Prof. R Srinivasan on the initiative of the three academies of sciences in India. We also made recording of all the lectures as well as experimental demonstrations. Our media center at IISER Pune is currently working on editing these recordings and they intend to release a DVD with the assistance from Vigyan Prasar Bharti. This effort shall enable the kit and the Course to reach small town colleges in India, especially those with relatively poor experimental facilities.
